A certain Italian rider also failed being observed crossing the traffic lights on Red in Croydon!

We know whose influence that is! Once too often and he'll end up as bolognese sauce - or pc plod will confiscate his wheels.

Having been dropped on the long sunny uphill drag near Halstead Durham John and I lost touch with the group and made our way home along the A21 & 232 via Croydon.

What a lovely suggestion from Harold and Veena. One possibility--if the date suited H & V--might be for the lunch to be on the day of the AGM, 14 Oct. If Cobham RBL was available (and met Veena's needs) we could all cycle over from Hersham after the meeting to arrive at Cobham at about 1pm. I'm sure we could all fit in the RBL somehow.

Bill Stead to celebrate his 90th birthday used the day centre at Cobham round the corner with plenty of room and buffet style
