Thanks for the photos Dave.j If I've understood it correctly, it also (nearly) joins up with the cycleway from New Malden to Kingston, via Berrylands and Marsh Lane.

Yes I rode it today on the way back from the Cheam and Morden ride and it's just a couple of streets away from Berrylands . A much pleasanter return home for me than via the level crossing gates at Motspur Park.

This is very good. A few weeks ago, I rode home from North London, something I have not done for a few years. I was astonished at the progress that is being made in cycling infrastructure, particularly in central London. Bit by bit, things are getting better.

Simon, yes it links up rather seamlessly at New Malden Stn with the cycleway to Kingston via Berrylands, signposted all the way, except (hopefully only temporarily) at the Merton end, where you will need local knowledge to find it. Theoretically it links up with the end of CS7 at Colliers Wood, but you would need even more local knowledge to follow it. There is plenty more to do, but the bit they have done is rather nice.
