Go south again

On Saturday I rode up Logmore Lane, through Coldharbour (noting the pub's shop selling refreshments to cyclists and others, but only until 1100) en route to Ockley Farm Shop.

A smaller choice here, but still very welcome and delicious. The coffee machine wasn't working but I knew that in advance having e-m'd them earlier. I also bought some local asparagus.

I did wonder about Ockley farm shop as I went past - also on Saturday. But I'd had my water and cake on the grass by the church round the corner.

Last time I was at Ockley Farm Shop was in Feb for a Hilly 50 recce to check on massive potholes on the descent of Holmbury Rd. Rained all the time, roads were under water. I stayed in the shop for about half an hour trying to get warm. They were most welcoming, even though I was leaking water all over their floor. In retrospect what a happy time I had, though I don't think I was so happy at the time.
