B Group Ride Report - 16th September '26.

Well done to the 14 who rode out to Fairoaks for our ride through Chobham Common to Woking and then along a substantial length of the Basingstoke Canal and the River Wey/Wey Navigation.

Fortunately we were blessed with a dry and fine day for our ride out from Fairoaks Airport and welcomed a new rider, Graham K, who joined us for the morning ride and lunch in Woking at the ‘H.G Wells’.

All went very smoothly today and there were no issues. The morning ride included various lanes that few of us had followed before and the afternoon scenic stretches of the Basingstoke canal and Wey Navigation. 

We all enjoyed a relaxed and convivial tea break at Walton Marina after a well planned and executed day’s ride. Thanks to Sue F for back marking our group and to everyone for making today’s ride a success. 

A good day had by all !
